Description
HiGlo strips are made of filter paper. Each sterile strip is impregnated with highly pure 0.5 mg of Fluorexon Disodium salt and steralized by EO.
Specification
HiGlo Strips are the most commonly used diagnostic strips. They are used in assessments of tear film break-up time in contact lens wearers and non-contact lens wearers
- Moisten the tip of the strip(the side with Fluorescein Sodium) by 1 to 2 drops of sterile water or sterile ophthalmic irrigating solution.
- Alternatively, tear fluid from the lower fornix may be used while the patient looks up.
- Stroke the moistened tip along the Bulbar Conjunctiva.
For optimal results : Patients should blink several times after application.
- Each strip includes 0.5mg Fluorexon Disodium salt.
- Each pouch contains 1 strip.
- Available in packing of 100 pouches per box.
