Description
Fluorescein Sodium strips are the world’s largest selling Fluorescein Sodium strips. Fluo Strips are made of filter paper impregnated with highly pure fluorescein sodium solution and are sterilized by EO.
Specification
Fluo Strips are the most commonly used diagnostic strips to visualize defects or abrasions in the corneal epithelium by staining the areas of cellular loss. They are also useful for evaluating hard contact lens fitting and applanation tonometry.
- Moisten the tip of the strip(the side with Fluorescein Sodium) by 1 to 2 drops of sterile water or sterile ophthalmic irrigating solution.
- Touch the Fornix or Conjunctiva gently by the wet tip.
For optimal results : Patients should blink several times after application.
- Each strip includes 1mg Fluorescein Sodium.
- Each pouch contains 1 strip.
- Available in packing of 100 & 300 pouches.
